Maria Fernanda Prieto is a Mexican director whose work explores identity, memory, and the emotional undercurrents of family. Raised between Mexico City and the United States, she brings a cross-cultural lens to intimate, character-driven storytelling. Her short films have screened at FICM, FICLosCabos, GLAFF, deadCenter, and LA Shorts Fest. She served as 2nd Unit Director on Netflix’s Pedro Páramo and is currently developing her debut feature, Te Quiero Ver Arder, with Woo Films.
